Gortinore Distillers & Co. was founded in 2014 and launched the brand's flagship spirit, Natterjack Irish Whiskey, in February 2019. Named after the Natterjack toad, the only toad indigenous to Ireland. The creators chose it because the Natterjack walks or runs instead of hopping - it does things differently.
