This ultra-limited edition dry gin celebrates the humble French cornichon. Built on Citadelle’s signature aromatic base of 19 botanicals — rooted in juniper, citrus and spice — it is infused with hand-picked, no-insecticide cornichon pickles from Maison Marc in Burgundy. The result: a playful, terroir-driven expression born at Château de Bonbonnet with distiller Alexandre Gabriel’s mantra “Impossible is not Ferrand” in full effect.
Tasting Notes: Nose: Intense herbaceous juniper and aniseed, followed by salty, vinegary cornichon character. Palate: Juniper leads into a fresh, voluptuous mid-palate where the brine and acidity of pickles surface with crisp clarity. Finish: Long and persistent. A subtle whisper of mustard and pearl onions lingers beneath the juniper and brackish pickle notes. 43.8% ABV Additional Information
